Rehearsals in Girona

It has been a long-standing dream of Alondra de la Parra: the creation of her multidisciplinary project ‘The silence of sound’. With Mexican clown Gabriela Muñoz at her side, the Mexican orchestra conductor has assembled a team to give life to this project that combines classical music, performance and video art. The artist duo conceptualized the work, wrote the script and selected the music.

Música Maestra joins Alondra de la Parra and Gabriela Muñoz in the preview of ‘The silence of sound’ at the Auditorio Palau de Congressos de Girona. Alondra conducts the chamber orchestra GIO SYMPHONIA. It is the first general rehearsal with all the musicians present and the last one before the world premiere, in the summer of 2022, in Mexico. The goal is to finish polishing all the details.
